The World Ends With You: First Impressions
You have 7 days, complete the mission or face erasure . This is The World Ends With You( made by the Kingdom Hearts team at Square Enix) and its a pretty cool game so fare. I am not very far so im just going to do some impressions. You play a 15 year old boy whose a fan of graffiti and for the life of him cant remember a thing before the reaper games started. You have 7 days to survive and each day you need to complete a mission, all the while reapers are hunting down as many players as they can. The games battle system combines both screens so at first it can be pretty annoying but after you get used to it it becomes very addicting. There are also some great RPG elements mixed in to create a little more depth. The cut scenes are great and use the dual screens nicely, and the story is truly amazing, i cant wait to find out what happens. You can find this game pretty easily and i would recommend checking it our for anyone who has a DS. Next week ill talk more about console games to keep it mixed up.

Suikoden: Tierkreis Review
Suikoden is the sixth game in the long running Suikoden series (if you don't count the spin off tactic games). This is the first to be featured on the Nintendo DS and i knew i had to have it. This entry in the series departs from many of the stables fans have been so used to. Epic army battles are now replaced by several smaller battles, and duels are no longer a rock paper scissors game. Suikoden has some of the best production values i have seen on a DS game to date. Tons of anime cuts scenes provide style and all major discussions are voiced over making the characters very interesting and long plot devices seem addicting. The game still revolves around building your ultimate castle and recruiting all 108 stars of destiny, yet the story no long involves government and brings up religion for the main conflict. The Order of the one true way want to fuse the twelve universes together and bring about a future less utopia, and you the leader of the rebels fight for the right to choose your own future. One of the games flaws is that its a bit easy, but it makes the game very addicting and the need to grind for levels non existent. I clocked in around 35 hours of game play at the end and still had many stars to recruit and side quests to complete. This game like its elders is kinda hard to find but you may find it for $30 on eBay, but i say its worth a buy to anyone who likes a good RPG.

Movie Review Synecdoche New York
So as i was browsing my movie collection i thought i would review a drama. Synecdoche New York is a film about a regional theater director struggling romantic relationships, as well as problems of aging, and a mysteriously degenerating medical condition. One day he in is given funding to develop a perfect theatrical work of art. He decides to build a full scale replica of New York City inside an impossibly large warehouse and populating it with thousands of actors. He spends the remainder of his life creating a piece so personal and epic in scope, that the line between reality and art collide, and the world that he created swallows up everything within it. This movie is in my opinion ahead of its time in so many ways, the story is a bit complex so if you intend to get a fully realized story be prepared to watch it a few times. This movie is also very sad and wont leave you feeling like a million bucks, BUT the plot is very interesting and gives you a better understanding a the human being. I would recommend this to anyone thats not having a shitty day so check it out.

BARBARELLA Movie Review
So this week i thought i would dig through my collection and show you guys a cult classic of epic campyness proportions. BARBARELLA, the setting is planet Lythion in the year 40,000, when barbaella makes a forced landing while traveling through space. She acts like a female James Bond, vanquishing evil in the forms of robots nd monsters. shealso rewards, in an uninhibited manner, the handsome men who assist her in the adventure. This movie is one of the most rediculess things i have ever seen, made in 1968 this movie has some of the crazyest depictions of the future i have ever seen EX: space ships have shag carpet all over them. This movie is will no doubt leave you laughing and wanting more, and i would not advise watching it while under the influence it can get pretty crazy. Tell me some cult classics that your a fan of.

Suikoden Video Game review Looking back to the past
As many people know im a huge geek, i love anything movies, games, and comics, so im going to be giving a few reviews on some video games that are mostly overlooked or in some way changed the way I view the world today. The first one is probably my favorite rpg (role playing game) of all time, Suikoden. In a time of war the son of the country's greatest general is assigned to seek an oracle, when his party arrives she tells him hes destined for greatness and will bring the 108 stars of the universe together for the first time. After the empire kills his oldest friend he is set on a path for greatness to lead the rebel forces against the empires corrupt ways. This is a pretty vague outline of the story and its this original story that makes this game a timeless classic. Change in the way you play rpgs forever Suikoden features included: Recruit a colorful cast of 108 pre-determined characters, each specializing in various aspects of combat or support. So you have 108 characters to choose from in your party of six!, Building an immensely large headquarters that grows as the story progresses, for example if you recruit an inventor you may get a elevator added into your headquarters, and after you collect all 108 recruits it even rivals the bat cave. Take your men to battle in epic land battles(for the time). And Participate in turn based, one-on-one duels for an added dramatic storytelling effect. I just recently downloaded it on my ps3 and played through the main story in a few days and it hold up better than any other rpg in the PS library.. This game is an overlooked classic and anyone with a ps3 should download it immediately if your in anyway shape of form a fan of old school rpgs.
